House Scores

The House system at Castle Hall encourages students to participate in healthy competition and rewards those for positive behaviour shown around the school.

Throughout the year students earn House points through a variety of competitive activities, their good attendance and their achievement points (rewarded in and out of lessons for positive behaviour). House points are allocated in these three areas (called ‘Trophies’), which are Competitions, Attendance and Rewards. The latest scores for these trophies can be downloaded here.

The image below shows the latest overall Champions based on the scores from the three trophies.

Mirfield Educational Charity

Castle Hall Academy would like to thank the Mirfield Educational Charity for their generous donation to the Design Technology department.

Their donation has enabled us to purchase a new 3D printer.  This technology is now a key part of the Design curriculum and

will allow our students to learn about current design processes and innovations in the design industry.

Students will  be able to design and print out a 3d model of their ideas for use in their projects in KS3 and KS4. Click Here.

After School Support

Dear Parents / Carers

We would like to make you aware, if you are not already, of a resource that is available in school to support your child’s learning. The Learning Mentors run a session every day after school, from 3-4pm in the LRC, and welcome all students to attend. Your child can come to receive help with homework, use the IT facilities, or make use of the LRC as a quiet place to do some independent work. We can also help with revision techniques and preparation for exams.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact school on 01924 520500, and ask to speak to one of the Learning Mentors.
